She is currently preparing for her Architectural Registration Exams and is a LEED Accredited Professional. She has worked in health care design in Denver, Colorado, and while in Chicago has worked with many local educational institutions on their projects large and small, restaurant and retail design, and currently works at OKW Architect, Inc. focusing on the remodel of a 100 year old theater in Hyde Park.

Her other non-profit involvement includes design work for Freedom by Design in Denver, Colorado (2001) and Architecture for Humanity Chicago (2004-2005).

Breena was an improv student at the Second City Training Center (2003-2004), Piven Theatre (2004), Annoyance Theatre (2007), and iO Chicago (2011).

Breena also assists with event planning for UHC’s volunteer and outreach programs and fundraising efforts with a special interest in the facilitation of UHC’s community charrette and brainstorming events.
