About UHC

Geof Prairie

Geof Prairie was instrumental in the early years of UHC, being active on most projects, including True Nature Foods Rooftop Victory Garden, 2613 Garden, Do-It-Yourself: Seed Balls, the Lawndale Carriage House adaptive reuse, the Atsushi Kikuchi House deconstruction, and materials research. He also served on the Board of Directors from 2007-2008.

Geof stepped down in 2008 to focus on completing his degree in product design as well as teaching duties and supporting students and faculty in the Art + Design Department at Columbia College Chicago.
