Kirei board
April 8, 2005

Kirei board is fabricated from sorghum stalks, a reclaimed agricultural fiber. Sorghum, used to make flour and molasses is, like bamboo, a rapidly renewable resource and satisfies LEED criteria.
Kirei board is easily cut and finished using typical woodworking techniques, and may be used for sound absorption, cabinetry, furniture, paneling, flooring, and interior partitions. The adhesives used to bind the sorghum stalks have no formaldehyde emissions.
