Nice things to sit on

Mike helped J.J. make a chair (above, left) for his Mom’s birthday while the rest of UHC worked on the cob bench, which is coming along nicely: after the urbanite foundation was laid and the first layers of cob placed last week were able to dry (above, right), this week the bench started to take shape with a higher back and a comfier seat. Next week, the bench will be ready for a water-resistant finish coat. Remember, the first rain will NOT wash this bench away.
