Underground America Day

Saturday, May 15, 2010 · 12:00 AM

The brainchild of visionary architect Malcolm Wells, who died in 2009, Underground America Day is “a time to honor the 6,000 or so North Americans who make their homes not only on the Earth but in it.”

Underground America Day is officially May 14, but we’re celebrating on May 15th!

So, HOW is UHC celebrating Underground America Day? We are joining up with Greencorp to plant vegetables in the Joy Garden at Northside Prep this Saturday. We will be planting root vegetables like potatoes, carrots, radishes, etc. We hope you can dig a hole with us this Saturday!
