Cold Weather Farming Workshop

Most farmers are through with growing for the season. In Chicago, another growing season just started! Come learn the basic planning and implementation skills to keep the food growing now and throughout the winter.

**Cold weather seeds will be provided for participants.

Instructor Mike Repkin has 25 years of growing experience, from the Midwest to the Bahamas. He has a background in microbiology from Water Reed Military Medical Center, and has lectured extensively on environmental topics and human life support - the art and science of restoring a habitable planet.

**Note: Please notice that this is a hands-on workshop. Participants will be expected to do some moderate heavy lifting/manual labor.
