What we do:

We teach, design, and implement environmental techniques in organic agriculture, water management, restorative landscape technologies and sustainable design, and food producing green roofs, for schools and community groups in Chicago. We have a particular interest in areas such as urban agriculture, green infrastructure, and material re-use/recycling.

UHC enables citizens to make direct environmental and social change. We provide “hands-on” training in environmental issues and urban agriculture through school programs, youth and adult workshops, internships, volunteer days and presentations at our teaching farm and other sites.

At the time of COVID-19, we want to help! If you are interested in engaging us to lead outdoor exclusive programs tailored to your group, please contact us using this form.
